Current Notices
Closures: There will be no training session at Beechdale on Sunday 5th February 2012 due to a County Championships taking place.
Trial Session: At the training session on Sunday 12th February at Beechdale any swimmers interested in becoming a member can come along for a trial session. Please invite your friends and family if they might be interested in joining us.
Time Trials: For main pool swimmers, time trials will take place over the following four training sessions in March 2012: Monday 12th, Friday 16th, Monday 19th and Friday 23rd. All swimmers need to be on poolside for a prompt start!
Junior Gala: On Sunday 18th March 2012 at Beechdale our Junior Gala will take place again this year. This is for the lower pool swimmers who will use the main pool for one day, while main pool swimmers use the tank. All tank and small pool swimmers that can come need to be at Beechdale for 12:50. Sharon will put a list of names on the notice board. Please amend the list by Sunday 4th March if your child/children cannot attend. There is no charge for this gala.
Biathlon: If anyone is interested there is an East Midlands and Eastern regions Modern Biathlon competition also on Sunday 18th March in Newark. Please see the application form for more details or speak to Katie Rhodes.
Easter Holiday: The last training session before Easter will be Monday 2nd April 2012. The first session back will be Thursday 12th April 2012.

Personal Bests: Personal Bests have been updated following the Leander Open on 22nd January 2012. See the Swimmers Page. The club achieved 23 personal bests and 11 trophies. The two relay teams did well; 12/U came fourth and 13/14 came third. Sharon, the Head Coach, would like to thank all who participated.
County and Midland Qualifying Times: The 2012 qualifying times are available to download. See the Swimmers Page or here: County and Midland.
Membership Application Form 2012: Updated membership rates and a 2012 Membership Application Form are now available from the Membership Page. The form needs to be returned by 31st January 2012.
December 2011 Club Newsletter: the December 2011 edition of "The Northerner" is available to read online or to download from the Club Newsletter page.
Presentation Evening 2011: The annual club Presentation Evening took place on Saturday 3rd December 2011 at Notts County Football Club on Meadow Lane. Congratulations to Ben Hammond and Sally Durcan who were announced as the new Club Captains:

Gala Information Pack: An information pack for swimmers and parents on what to expect when participating in Galas has been added to the Gala Fixtures Page. Please remember that all swimmers should be wearing Nottingham Northern Swimming Club hats for galas when representing the club.
Life Guards Needed! We are really short of lifeguards for the club. You need to be over 16 years and go on a course and the club will pay if you will commit to lifeguard regularly for the club for a period to reimburse the cost.
